A new book explores why and what to do about it" and I'll read some sections from it and I quote: "America has seen a dramatic shift away from jobs requiring physical strength. Fewer than 1 in 10 jobs now require what's called heavy work, a sector once dominated by men. Friday’s jobs numbers from the Labor Department showed a continuing worrisome trend among men: A smaller and smaller share of them are working. Consider men of so-called prime-working age, 25 to 54. Sixty years ago, close to 97% of men in that group were working or looking for work. Since then, there's been a steady decline. In October, the number was 88.5%. In a new book, Brookings Institution scholar Richard V. Reeves sounds the alarm about the struggles of men, both in the economy and in society, pleading with policymakers and society at large to pay attention to what's going on and intervene. Titled Of Boys and Men, the book explores the economic, social and cultural shifts that have forced men to the sidelines of the economy, including the loss of jobs in male-dominated fields such as manufacturing and the influx of women into the workforce, diminishing the need for men to serve as providers for their families. Rather than try to recapture an era that is long gone, Reeves argues we should help men adapt to the jobs of the future — including many that are now overwhelmingly performed by women. In an interview with NPR, Reeves warns if nothing is done to help struggling men, families will become poorer and economic inequality will only worsen." Then the article has exerpts from an interview with Richard. He says that he was reluctant to write the book because if you try to help men you get criticized and attacked or asked 'Whose side are you on?' As if if you want to help men you have to hurt whamen. Soyciety is so obsessed with helping women thatif you bring up male issues then it can be seen as a distraction. Richard also has three grown sons. He says whereas he used to fret about three young men, he is now worried about millions. He says the male population has slipped back economically back to 1979 with regards to earnings. That there are stagnating wages for the majority of American men. And that's created this economic malaise. He says that many of the new male jobs have to come from the HEAL sectors — IE health, education, administration and literacy. In some ways, it's the mirror image of STEM — science, technology, engineering and math. I've helped you get a grip on life and regain control but Peterson's innitial reaction is that that's a weasel's thing to do. I thought I'd talk about a story that came out a while back about Jennifer Aniston being barren of babies and supposedly has no regrets about it. She was trying to get preggers and had this to say and I quote: "I would have given anything if someone had said to me, freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor and just don't think about it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed. I have zero regrets" unquote. But to me she certainly sounds like she has regrets because during most of that interview she's swearing more than a sailor. What she says in her interview is also wrong. She's giving women terrible advice because eggs only last an additional five years past a woman's fertility window. Aniston doesn't sound like she's the sharpest friend. She could have taken her eggs from the IVF procedure and paid for a surrogate to carry them. Or she could have told the person interviewing her that young women shouldn't wait and that they should have kids as soon as they can if they want them. She of course focused on her career and now all she's got show for it are millions of dollars in the bank, a star on the walk of fame and man face. I don't feel bad for her because she had all the money in the world to pay for a surrogate to carry her child and could have had one and had nannies take care of it. I thought there was going to be a lot more to this story but I'm having a hard time finding things to talk about. I guess I should have read up on it before collecting enough pictures for a ten minute video. I'd start by trying to figure out the culture of it and see if I could change it by having guys share their stories. Quite often doctors say that a good reason to get it removed is because it reduces the chances of having a urinary tract infection. Or because it can get infected. The issue is that if you don't clean inside the home for your turtle head it will most certainly get infected. So that means if the US dollar stays strong stock valuations are too high and price to earnings ratios will go up. So that means a recession but also cheaper goods from overseas. So if you go to walmart or dollar tree you'll pay the same or less for the products found on the shelves. That will slow down rising inflation and we'll probably see a stock market crash any day now if we haven't already. So why will this hurt the whamens more? Well women make up the majority of financial asset holders. Their husband was nagged to death and they came into some of his real estate and property. Financial assets like stocks, bonds and real estate and cratering and Brandon and the boys are throwing middle and upper class women under the bus so that the poorer women can afford cat food and twinkies this month. Instead of letting the rich get richer through asset price inflation by letting inflation run at 8+ percent they have decided that preventing a class war is more important. We're in the middle of a recession yet the powers that don't want you to be are saying that the recession is coming next year. The financial carnage is everywhere if you own stuff. But the financial situation if you own nothing is about to improve as inflation is about to fall. So long as you can hold onto your job that is. And speaking of suffering what I want to talk about today is a film that's going to make a lot of whamen suffer called wifelike. Here's a brief breakdown of the film from streamable and I quote: "A grieving detective in the near-future hunts down criminals who trade artificial humans on the black market. In the fight to end AI exploitation, an underground resistance attempts to infiltrate him by sabotaging the programming of the artificial human assigned as his companion to behave like his late wife. She begins to question her reality as memories of a past life begin to surface in a world where nothing is as it seems." unquote. I wonder what the resistance will look like? probably a rag tag group of renegade overweight feminists called the manatee collective no doubt. Lifelife female androids are a fantasy for men and a horror film for women. The stepford wives explores that the fullest where there's a town full of men replacing their real lives with passable androids. Ending of the Stepford wives is more realistic where the main female character is also replaced by a femoid. Clearly in the future there will be no happy Cherry 2000 ending where men give up perfect sexy androids for real whamen. But women won't successfully ban them either. I think things will fall somewhere in the middle and that in the end men won't want a companionbot. Instead they will want a boinkbot for quickies and then shove it under their bed or something. As for Wifelike the film begins with a cheesy ad designed to piss off whamen. The owner of the wifelike company says how would you like to never go to bed lonely or mourn the loss of a loved one. His sloagan is upgrade your wife. Upgrade your life. A play on the whole happy wife, happy life thing. I really hope this isn't yet another film that devolves into a female fantasy that somehow the female androids will rise up against the programming that men have coded for them, join the female collective and punish men for trying to replace biological women with artificial ones. The reality when it comes will be very different. Neither side will be happy with the outcome. Men will see through the facade of the silicone to see there's nothing there and whamen will get less attention than ever.
