Recently the author Tim Patten, a former sponsor of my channel that asked me to review a bunch of his books passed away. His Eulogy video is in the description and it includes a couple of his books in it including one called my razzle dazzle. Tim was a gay male from San Francisco and he knew about the oppression that that brought. He was able to tell people about that but even when he passed away his MGTOW books were not included in the eulogy. This wasn't the first time I've seen this happen. Another content producer Paul Proteous passed away about a couple of years ago and once again his famiy didn't mention anything about going your own way. I know Paul kept these two lives separate and compartmentalized and stopped producing content because he was afraid of what might happen to him. I'm guilty of the same, separating my personal and mgtow life because and rightfully so as I've seen what happens with cancel culture comes for you. But why not mention the philosophy for living that you embraced when you're gone? Afterall they can't cancel you cause you're already dead. That's the best time to put those ideas out because they can't hurt you anymore. Maybe Paul's and Tim's family members feel hurt? Maybe they don't want the shame of it all and have to answer for putting that out there during a time of mourning? Timothy Patton was a gay male. That was no secret. People can openly talk about that. But they can't talk about him supporting men going their own way and writing a book about us. We are being swept under the rug. It's more accepted to be gay today then it is to go your own way and be a confirmed bachelor talking about the negatives associated with female nature. Even in the Fight Club the characters could still have their name read out when they died. The scene with Meatloaf where they say his name is Robert Paulson comes to mind. At least Vention MGTOW shared his real name on his MGTOW channel with a eulogy video and people were fine with him doing that. Then again I don't think he cared about offending people. If we can't share our philosophical beliefs in death because we or our families are afraid to offend others that's a tragedy. This makes me want to erect a giant mgtow monument when I go. Maybe make a memorial by spending a couple hundred thousand dollars to build something that lasts and do it out in the deserts in the southwest. But you know they, the haters, will vandalize your grave and knock over your tombstone if you do that because they hate your belief system. I think part of the reason for this is certainly that the vast majority of Indian women are educated in the west and back home these days. Young Indian guys for the most part are about a generation or so behind western men and they have more masculine fathers and feminine mothers. I watched a documentary film called the end of Suburbia that woke me up to the reality of how cheap energy makes our way of life possible. The documentary discussed how conventional global oil and natural gas production was reaching it's maximum level's and would soon decline and we would all have to get used to a much lower standard of living. I was involved in the peak oil movement after that. I went to meetings, wrote a book that I never published and traveled the world to see how ancient civilizations dealt with the issue of having less energy in their societies. One of the guys that was late to the Peak Oil Party was Chris Martenson. His YouTube channel Peak Prosperity blew up during Covid because he was ringing the alarms on in back in January of 2020 before most people realized what was going on. He was also ringing the alarm on Peak Oil back in 2009 when he put out a series called the crash course which I've put a link to in the description. When I watched the end of suburbia in 2005 you'd think I would change my lifestyle for a future with little to no energy use. Instead I did the opposite. I consumed more. Because what happens 15 minutes before a bar closes at 1am? People rush to get the last drinks they can. Sometimes ordering two or three. So I did a bunch of road trips to New York, Chicago, Vegas and LA. I went to Australia, Egypt, Europe and the South Pacific. I thought at any moment people would figure out what I knew and drive the price of energy up to the moon and it would become too expensive to travel. I thought I was right as oil hit $150 dollars a barrel in 2008 and here's a Google trends graph that has Peak Oil in Blue. You can see the early spike in 2004 and 2005 but then one final spike in 2008 as the oil price exploded and then crashed. I thought this is it. But then the shale oil and gas boom happened and everyone went back to sleep for the next ten to fifteen years. If you look at this illustration it shows what's most probably to happen with US oil production. By 2050 it will be almost nothing. That's only 30 years away. What do you think is going to happen when a country and culture built around the car doesn't produce any oil? The reason Peak Oil resonated with me when I discovered it in 2005 was because I visited two countries that had artificially induced peak oil back in the 1990s. Yugoslavia when around 50 percent of the oil was gone thanks to sanctions and Cuba when only 15% was gone after the collapse of the Soviet Union. At some point I'm going to have bring out my old information which will be relevant again and share it with everyone.
