At first it looked a guy that a guy that got together with a single mother in an on again off again relationship was going to be on the hook to pay a woman $445 thousand dollars in child support. 130 thousand of that being retroactive. You'd think that would be a great injustice against a man to force him to pay for children that aren't his. The actual father doused him in lighter fluid and threated to turn him into a human torch. Just when you think the woman is going to win the judge goes and snatches victory away from the proud owner of a vagina. You see she is being forced by the judge to sell her 1.5 million dollar home and pay him half of the money. I don't know where and how she paid for the place that's worth that much? Maybe her ex husband. Who knows? But after she sells it and gives him half that means he's up three hundred thousand after she took him to court. Talk about a self own. She probably thought that female privilege would save the day but the judge is treating their relationship like a marriage even though they never married and didn't cohabitate consistently. This sort of reminds me that case in Toronto where the guy was forced to pay spousal support even though he didn't live with the woman in question and only had occasional sleepovers. I'm just saying it's dangerous to even have a regular relationship in Canada even if you don't have children with a woman and don't live with her because the family courts can arbitrarily rule that you're married even you aren't. The law is still going to screw over a lot more men and this one woman is an anomaly but it's fun to watch none the less. What's also scary is the retroactive part because they were in an on-again-off-again relationship. Say a woman found two or three guys like that and rotated between them and the courts ruled that all three of them had to pay her retroactive or ongoing child support for some Chads kid. The story behind the lighter fluid stuff is that the woman's original ex and father of her children was business partners with the new guy that was in the on again off again relationship with her and so he was pissed that his business partner stole his marriage partner. She said that the old ex didn't have any money to pay for the children so she decided to go after the new guy. Now she's doing the old Polish Scarf trick where you make the scarf one foot longer by cutting one foot off one end and sewing it to the other. Her having to sell her home to pay child support means the newer ex gets money, the real estate agents get their commish and the government gets to collect the taxes on that sale. I'm sure the newer ex guy will have to pay tax on some of the money he gets from her. Everyone wins but her. She gets wrecked while all the men get pay checks. The government too. This has to be the most epic family court backfire I've ever heard. He has to want the relationship and that women love relationships. We all know that a woman demands a man's emotional attention and connection. For men it's a tradeoff but for women it's not. Usually the only thing a man asks for in return is sex and cooking and the guy usually puts up with it when she stops doing that. I've never been in a relationship where a woman tried cutting off sex. If she did I would be out the door. But imagine being the common man and telling his wife every four years that their Bitcoin investment went down 85% from the peak. Women can't deal with that sort of stress. Hell even I couldn't deal with it at first. The greater the risk, within reason, the greater the reward. Just avoid using leverage because you can get liquidate and shit coins. Shit coins are pure speculation and most will go to zero. A couple of years ago I was paid to promote Hex which has now dropped 99%. I told everyone that if they are already speculating in shit coins to consider that one as well. Again the key word is speculation and I told everyone that the only crypto currency I own that I put my own money into is Bitcoin. That forces competition between states and people can go from a bad state to a good one depending on the how tragical it gets. As for the two issues you mentioned they are obviously ideological. To those on the right no-fault divorce threatens family formation. Those on the right reproduce their value system by actually having children and raising them. Those on the left reproduce through immigration and by destroying families and then indoctrinating the young into their woke value system. The left is getting desperate to indoctrinate your children because they aren't having any. That's why you're seeing drag queen story time in schools. The left is converting many people in the middle but those with values on the right are starting to lean further to the right as a whole because the left has already picked off the easy targets. So of course red states are becoming increasingly conservative and to protect themselves from an increasingly aggressive left they have to get rid of things like no fault divorce, abortion, protecting men's rights by jailing women for paternity fraud. These things are all part of a greater trend. Those with right leaning values are going to harden them and those on the left in their desperation are going to harden theirs. They won't meet in the middle but instead draw a line in the middle of the sand. I made a video covering a lot of similar adjacent issues. I figured out that usually when a country breaks up one side decides to leave and the other side won't let it for whatever reason. Think of the US south deciding to succeed and the North fighting to prevent it. Right now, now pun intended the right leaning conservative states won't leave because they are receiving transfer payments from the blue states. The left requires energy and agricultural goods from the right while they themselves produce high end finished goods or big tech and the fire sector services these days, financial products, insurance and real estate which are mostly in the left leaning north eastern states.
