It's not to say that people should always choose money and stability over love, but in this case, Rose seemed to be making a rash decision driven by fleeting emotions. And historically, we've seen that such situations often don't work out well for the person who leaves their stable relationship. Pearl: That's a valid point. It's important to consider the long-term consequences of our choices. In real life, financial stability and compatibility play significant roles in the success of a relationship. Love alone cannot sustain a partnership. Donovan: Precisely. It would have been interesting to see a more realistic portrayal of the challenges Rose would have faced after leaving Cal.
