So I wanted to use this to cover an article I found from the website WEALTH OF GEEKS with the same title, 12 reason men don't want to marry. The woman writing is says that she recently heard someone say "smart men don't get married" and wanted to explore the reasons why that is. The author Ananyaa is a neurodivergent queer pop-culture journalist, a cat-parent and performance poet. I couldn't make that all up if I tried. What's interesting is now those that would be traditionally on the left are starting to accept men going their own way and are pushing out ideas we first brought up a decade ago. First they laugh at you, then they fight you and then they join you. So she bring twelve points and I'll go through each one and give my take on them. The first is men don't want to get married because it gets the government involved when you sign on the dotted line on your wedding day. You will always have the sword of debacles of divorce hanging over your head in the back of your mind. Remember just because she won't divorce you doesn't mean that she can't. She says that paperwork may become a liability if you choose to separate. She says the idea of one true love isn't popular anymore so why get married. I'm thinking that women realize that men don't want to get married and are going their own way so they are willing to settle for a man that's willing to meet them halfway and are about to start making some serious concessions to get many men back in the marketplace. Her second point is the rise of gender equality. That men are no longer the head of the household and don't have authority over their family. That it's not appealing for men to have a 50-50 partnership where they share every duty equally. But she's wrong. Men don't care about women being chief bread winners and their careers. This idea of women out earning men is something that that women are more hyper focused on than men. I've always wanted an intellectual and financial equal to a woman. That's not why I left relationships that initially have the foundation of equality. I left because the women wanted control and superiority over me. Women don't want equality. They want the power of the so called patriarchy that never existed in the first place. But they want feminine power too. Her third point is that many men feel the social expectations surrounding being the chief bread winner in the family. Of course most men do. Men are human doings and women are human beings. Most men don't want to feel embarrassment by having a more successful wife. On the flip side most women don't want the shame of having a husband that's beneath them. But she's right when she says that many men today can barely provide for themselves let alone a wife and kids. The financial situation for most men to have families is not very practical at this point. This film comes off as hating men and it takes place in Barbieland and the real world. In Barbieland the men are called Kens and they are a bunch of simps that are constantly trying to get a glimpse of the Barbies. But in the real world the men are a holes and the soyciety resembles a patriarchy. The real world is the way that feminists imagine it. Not the way it actually is. And Barbieland is the way that 1st or 2nd wave feminists might imagine their world. A place that's run by a matriarchy of Barbie women. They are all a bunch of doctors, lawyers, judges and politicians. I suppose that's how most women see men. There is no room for subtlety or neuance. Which made this movie unbearable for me. Feminists are always talking about how they want equality. For men that usually means equality of opportunity. But far too often for feminists we think it's equality of outcomes. This film shows us that women want complete control and submission over men. Ken and Barbie venture into the real world where Barbie is rollerblading at Venice Beach and suddenly some man gropes her butt from behind. I've never seen anything like that in real life and you can tell the writers are just projecting the world they want where men are bad instead of being good. The men were either evil or weak. I film couldn't depict them as being good or strong. Those qualities these days are considered toxic masculinity. The film is directed by Greta Gerwig, I've never heard of her before and haven't seen any of her movies. I don't mind female directors and one of my favorite films, American Psycho is directed by a feminist. I just think this film relies too heavily on the aesthetic look of Barbie and the built in fan base that comes with it. As well as all the cameos from people like Kake Mckinnon who plays weird barbie. Greta is working on next year's snow white film and that's going to flop pretty hard because they can't even have dwarves but have to have diverse taller special people dwarves as to not offend everyone. As for Barbie the film opens up with a bunch of little girls in a scene that looks like it's an homage of 2001 and space odyssey except instead of apes smashing bones around an monolith. There's a barbie doll in the monolith's place the girls are all smashing their baby dolls to show that they are evolving. So instead of toy dolls to help them nurture the next generation of children they replaced them with a sexy doll that's a representation of what they probably want to see in their own future. I found a brief article called New domestic abuse law comes into force in the UK and here's what it briefly has to say: "A new law to give more protection to victims of domestic abuse has come nto force. Offenders could now be jailed for up to five years and be given an unlimited fine for offences including coercion and controlling behaviour. Sarah, not her real name, was a victim of domestic abuse. She said wider definitions of abuse in the law would help victims. "I think it will change things a lot, especially now that they are including coercion and control within the law," she said. "It's going to make people feel safer to be able to actually take that to the police and report these things when they do happen." unquote. So now with you abuse a woman with insults the law will literally treat your words as violence and potentially put you away for five years but what's also scary is they will fine you as much as they want. They could take your entire net worth if they want. More men than ever will now go their own way because of this law. Coercion is a threat of force or violence. You don't even have to get violent but just threaten it and she can have you hauled away. What about other more traditional forms of female abuse like gaslighting? This all seems like it's very much centered around male abusers versus female victims. Half of all violence is done by women in domestics. But do you think that cops in the UK will arrest men when they are trained under the Duluth model which was created by feminists and promotes the idea that only a man can be abusive or use coercive control. So you can see how this law is going to be abused. Women are going to use it to turn their husbands into brokie in prison playing drop the soapie with some pikey. Basically the law is not gender neutral. The article pretty much proves that because it only speaks about women being the victims. We are seeing this now with only 35% of the UK parliament filled with women. What do you think is going to happen when it gets to fifty percent in the next ten to fifteen years? Women that get physically abusive in the UK can pretty much get away with it and if the guy fights back or complains then she can go to the cops and say that she did it because he was threatening violence first and how is a guy supposed to prove that he's innocent. It's his word against a whamens. With regards to the title of this video men going away for insulting a woman remember that in this day and age of wokism words are violence as well. Even if you're going to date in the UK be aware that if you date a crazy that she might pull something like this if the relationship turns south. No one should be surprised about this because it's the UK we're talking about where you'll go to jail for a dank meme. In the UK parliament they have even gotten so bad that they classify male victims of domestic abuse as victims of violence against women and girls. They dropped the boys part out and no longer say that women and children are the victims of violence but that women and girls are. By dropping men from the statistics but allowing their abuse to still be counted, just counted against women they are able to use that as a means of getting even more funding for women's shelters and other goodies from the gooberment.
