So what I want to discuss an article called: "Sales funnels and high-value men: the rise of strategic dating" and it's about a woman sharing her story of dating 5 or more guys at the same time and I want to read a bit from that article and I quote: "Rebekah Campbell remembers the moment she knew things had to change. “I got to age 34 and woke up one Christmas morning on a fold-out bed in the garage of some friends of my parents and was like, ‘I don’t want to live the rest of my life like this,’” she says. “I could see that I was potentially going to miss out on having a family unless I did something drastic.” Campbell was single and had not been on a date since the death of her boyfriend a decade prior. In those 10 years, she focused her energy on building a successful business career, including founding the order-ahead app Hey You. So she resolved to begin dating the same way she launched brands: by sketching out a plan that resembled the “sales funnel” she used in her work. “I thought about it the same way for dating: at the top of the funnel I needed to have as many candidates as possible,” she says. To bring in “leads”, Campbell signed up for online dating platforms such as eHarmony and Tinder, and tasked friends with matchmaking duties. She created a list of the traits she wanted in a partner. To vet candidates, she had screening calls with potential dates before meeting them. And to ensure a “controlled experiment”, she met her suitors at one of the same two venues every week. Campbell documented her strategy in the book 138 Dates, out now through Allen & Unwin. (The approach paid off – after three years of dating, Campbell met her now-husband.) 138 Dates is one woman’s personal dating strategy, but Campbell is not alone in applying a set of rules to her love life. On Reddit, a community of 179,000 mostly heterosexual women discuss their courtship tactics in the subreddit r/FemaleDatingStrategy. The board began in 2019 . . . and offers a range of (often brutal, expletive-laden) advice to single women, designed to “[optimise] the female dating experience”. Among the six-point FDS mantras are “ruthlessly evaluate men”, “make him invest before sex” and “don’t split the bill”. Its list of no-nos includes asking a man out (FDS believes women should not make the first move) and drink dates (they’re “low effort”; going out for a meal is preferred). FDS advocates dating multiple men simultaneously, cutting suitors off at the first red flag and, as Campbell did, conducting pre-date interviews over the phone. The goal is to filter out anyone who is not, in FDS parlance, a “high-value man”. unquote. For the first part of this talk I'll discuss Rebekah and in the second half I'll discuss the female dating strategy subreddit and why women that follow it are doomed to fail. It's weird because the terminologies and labels have been reversed lately it seems. I hate how MGTOW keeps getting blamed for everything toxic in the manosphere. It's the most benign of all the philosophies when it comes to modern relationship problems. Just don't get married because X, Y, and, Z. I never would have thought that the idea of telling men to just don't get married because marriage sucks would be so hated. I feel like standup comedy has been pointing out the reasons X, Y, Z for years already, but they just stop short of saying marriage is a scam because of it! My personal life viewpoint is that having a woman for a date or as a girlfriend can be fun, but I'm never again going to allow myself to be put into a position where she's got leverage over me. I would just walk out and grey rock if it gets abusive or manipulative. I think what incel guy did was completely stupid because he's taking out the rage of his own low self esteem on a random girl. It had nothing to do with his personality and everything to do with his looks. This catfish video proves the point that incels are trying to make about how women aren't looking for a good guy but instead looking for a good looking one. This incel guy was probably doing this as a sort of civil disobedience as a way to protest for the lack of women that will date him. I say sort of because he's not breaking any laws here but what he's saying is that he will stop this behavior if things change for what he thinks is the better. But Rusty you mention that the hate for incels has been transferred to MGTOWs but that will never stop because unlike other parts of that manosphere we can't be bargained with or bought. We are not benign because we have unshakable principles that can't be corrupted.

I used to think that stories like this were fake but if you go to the Reddit link I put down below there are tons of people responding back to this seriously. Ten years ago many people would shame Glad Panda and call him Sir Simps-A-Lot because he enjoys being cucked. Or think that he was just a troll pulling our leg. How can a man be this excited to be cucked and be picky about the types of men his wife is smashing? Maybe deep down he's worried that her new boyfriend is going to change her political views and that she might end up leaving him for the new guy. What's with people bringing politics into the bedroom. People worked very hard to get the governments and it's sexuality laws from the 20th century out of the bedroom. It's not as if Trump or Republican voters are going to take gays back to the dark days of the village people. Some people in the comments section under the post say many of the things that I initially thought such as perhaps Glad Panda needs to evaluate his relationship with his wife because maybe secretly her political views are to the right? You know it's bad when polyamerous people that have been behaving that way for a long time are saying that too. For most of the 20th century people worked so hard to keep politics outside the bedroom. Ie that we don't let the state dictate what is and isn't acceptable behavior. Now anything goes when it comes to emptying your gonads but a person's political philosophy appears to have become the most important thing in clown world.

Out Bushcraft camping in really cold weather. Hands down the best adjustable pot hanger ever. Cant believe I didn't think of this before. It's so simple. And stable. It handles a load better than the adjustable knot slider I usually do. I'm very fond of simple and fast solutions so this one is a keeper. (until next time when I'm bored with it and make another lol)

A word about cooking in the wild. As with the hanger, also the cooking needs to be simple and not to time consuming. When I make a soup in my kitchen at home I fry veggies and meat, spice up and roast the flavor before adding the fluid. So what happens if you just put a frozen block of mince and thaw it directly in fluid and then add raw veggies? I've never done that before so I was very surprised I didn't notice much difference. Its still a hundred times better than freeze dried food. I have seen people who brand themselves wilderness chefs and release books etc on the subject. IMO I have not seen them simplify things. They cook exactly like in a modern kitchen. And you would need a helicopter to get their cast iron kitchen gear with seven pots, iron tripods, chains etc out there. Its rustic back porch cooking really. So this has been something I wanted to make happen. Wilderness cooking that works on real hikes in all seasons. To use only the fire, a small lightweight frying pan and some vessels. Steel only except my coffee pots. Simple and as fast as possible. And some people cant understand how you can bring a whole chicken out there. It's added weight sure. But first day of the hike you are very strong and you eat it the first evening.Then the pack feels so much lighter the next day. I mostly start with the heavy foods and work my way down to freeze dried and noodles the last day. I always bring freeze dried but I don't shoot all my meals for you guys. The reason I started with this was that I had a problem with acid reflux on my longer hikes up north in my 20s. It was the freeze dried food. My first step was to bring 5 carrots wrapped in a cloth on the next hike. I mixed them with the freeze dried meals and felt a small improvement. That and some fresh fish made a big difference. I can understand the ultralight hikers don't want to carry potatoes and meats, but it does not take much to improve the food if you try out a method that works individually.

I slept under the stars the last night. Mil-tec lightweight rain poncho directly on the snow, then Canvas Lavvu folded, thermarest neoair xtherm, reindeer skin (very lightweight). And this time I mixed the Carinthia Defense 4 with a 400 gram marmot goose down summer bag inside. I was very warm down to -22C! Once down in the bag I realized I forgot my wool socks in the backpack hanging in a tree. But I didn't need them! Great combo and it packs down just as small in the compression bag with the marmot inside. But let's never forget sleep system success is always good insulation from the ground. Thanks for watching!
