I am of course referring to your mother. The inspiration for this video is a coaching call I did a while back with a young guy that was being pushed by his mother to become a doctor. It's tough when your mother has expectations and you don't want to let her down. If you do what your mother asks of you instead of standing up to her wishes then how will you ever stand up to a woman that you will be romantically involved with one day? Most guys born and raised by in a western country and raised by western parents don't have to deal with this. They are free to pursue whatever fine arts and social justice diploma they want at their so called local university which is just a fancy clown college that creates purple haired freaks. But in other less decadent countries when parents educate their children they want them to become doctors, lawyers and other highly paid professionals. Unless you've grown up with parents from an Eastern country then you have no idea what kind of pressure is put on a guy to excel in academia. Let's just say I was encouraged to go into math and science so I could go into medicine. Much the same way that the guy I spoke to on my Skype chat did. Let's call him Dave. It took me a few years to figure out that I not only hated science and math but that I also didn't have an aptitude for it. Much to the shigrin of my parents in my senior year I transferred out of my physics and math classes and decided to instead focus on creative writing and history. I applied for Psychology at the University of Toronto and got in and becoming a clinical psychologist was going to be the closest I would ever come to becoming a real doctor. But even then I didn't go choosing to instead go and get a fine arts degree in media instead. I chose to break free of the life path that was decided for me and picked my own. Even without the security of the pay a doctor would receive. But Dave decided that he was going to do what his mother had decided and now his life is starting to suck and he needs to find a way out. La cineasta y periodista Cassie Jay decidió grabar como feminista un documental sobre un grupo que era considerado machista y misógino. El resultado ha sido una vuelta de tuerca a sus creencias.

Todo comenzó con una idea. Conocer, y seguramente desmontar, al grupo conocido como Movimiento por los derechos de los hombres, una asociación que lucha por la igualdad, contra la discriminación del hombre y los movimientos radicales feministas.
Cassie Jay, la directora, era una feminista que había oído hablar de este movimiento por la prensa, es decir, que decidió rodar un documental sobre un grupo “machista”, “misógino”, “homófobo”, etc.

Y se pasó más de dos años y medio realizando entrevistas con los miembros de este grupo, además de feministas para conocer ambos puntos de vista.

El resultado fue “The red pill” y que esta feminista dejó de serlo. Un cambio radical para ella, que espera que ahora, gracias a este trabajo, la gente pueda replantearse las cosas y ver los dos puntos de vista.

Jay: “Espero vean esta película tanto feministas como personas que nunca se han planteado los problemas que afectan a los hombres”
“Una de mis metas con esta película es tratar de que los espectadores se replanteen algunas de las cuestiones que afectan a los hombres. La discusión es la clave. Y la educación es primordial. Espero vean esta película tanto feministas como personas que nunca se han planteado los problemas que afectan a los hombres”, aseguró Jay en un encuentro con jóvenes.

“No soy una activista. Soy una directora de cine. Una periodista. Pero yo era una feminista antes y con esta película se me cayó esta etiqueta.

Sigo apoyando los derechos de la mujer, el empoderamiento de las niñas. […] Pero ya no tengo ninguna etiqueta”, insistió.
El título “The red pill” (La píldora roja) hace referencia a la película “Matrix”, cuando el protagonista tiene que elegir entre tomar una píldora azul y seguir viviendo en el mundo de Alicia y las fantasías o la píldora roja y afrontar la realidad.

Para abordar toda esta temática el documental se divide en cuatro partes:
La primera trata sobre el hombre desecho. Con ello quieren reflejar como en ciertos aspectos la vida de un hombre vale menos que la de una mujer. Ofrece una serie de datos, como que el 93% de las muertes en accidentales laborales en EEUU son de hombres, que cuatro de cada cinco suicidios son masculinos o que un 63% más de hombres fueron condenados por el mismo delito que las mujeres.

La segunda trata sobre la separación de padres e hijos por la Justicia. Son muchos los casos en los que cuando se trata un divorcio o una separación la sentencia es favorable a la mujer por el mero hecho de serlo.
La tercera aborde el problema de la violencia de género. Se da por hecho que los hombres no sufren violencia de género y se banalizan las denuncias falsas, con especial atención al acoso laboral en EEUU.

La cuarta y última versa sobre el silencio mediático que impera en la vulneración de los derechos de los hombres, en especial por los movimientos feministas. Como ejemplo cabe recordar que este documental iba a ser proyectado en la ciudad canadiense de Otawa el pasado 4 de diciembre, pero se tuvo que suspender la presentación por las protestas que ocasionó.

description. In that article from the Muffington Post there's a video there where Charlize goes onto the Drew Barrymore show and Drew says she spent her life trying to figure out men for 45 years and she's tired and bored now and finds that the love she has with her children more impactful. Charlize of course agrees with her. These women have a lot in common. They are both single mothers in Hollywood taking a break from men. A couple of famous single mothers tired of men. Well if that were the case then why was Charlize Theron shaming men a year or two ago for a man to man up and marry her? Perhaps first she tried the stick shame and that didn't work and now she's trying a different approach. The approach of the empowered single mother with an African baby that don't need no man? Let me also make it clear Theron and Barrymore can certainly go on dates if they want but both the Muffington post and myself seem to agree that if we
give our content covering this story the title of Theron not going on a date for five years it makes for better clickbait. As Dave Chapelle always says gotcha bitch. But seriously she can get all the dates that she wants. I don't think it has anything to do with there not being enough men interested her. Especially considering I was recently working on a video about the wall for women being a myth. I'm now starting to think that for these two women their diva personalities don't suit them in middle age the same way they suited them while they were younger. Afterall all the forty something year old women I've known that got hot young Chads with more money knew how to bite their tongues and let the man be the center of attention for a while. Do you really think Charlize Theron knows how to share the spotlight? From my experience once women get over forty they cherry pick cock. They wait for the so called right man to show up and target them like a ferocious wildcat. Theron says that her life is really good and the man needs to bring that and more. She says honestly I don't feel lonely. When someone says honestly followed by something it usually means the opposite. Charlize also says she wants a man to bring more to a great life. To me that tells me that she's definitely looking for a man in her life but he has to meet her very high standards and over the last five years she hasn't met a man like that that's willing to simp out and accept her and her adopted African virtue signaling baby.
