Of course this video is full of spoilers so if you haven't seen it yet now's your chance and then you can come back to my review. Before I get to my thoughts about the film and the sequel, now that I have some context for it let me first tell everyone about today's sponsor the Red Pill Plumber: Anyways, now back to the video. For some reason I was randomly stumbling on YouTube looking for movies to watch and I was recommended a video that showed the opening scene of Conan the Barbarian where his family is slaughtered by Dark Vader in what looks like a village that's a cross between a Viking and Mongolian culture. That's when I was hooked and had to sail the high seas to get me a copy of Conan. I had seen bits and pieces of the film growing up on television but never got into it. Usually I would catch the last scene where he was in the chamber with the snake and then the film would end and I never really understood what had happened. There was no emotional payoff because I didn't realize that the man he was killing had killed his family and robbed him of his childhood. Conan The Barbarian isn't exactly a red pilled man either. At least the first film isn't. In the second film Conan The Destroyer he's tempted by the queen to become her king but he says he's going to go his own way and have his own kingdom and not be her bitch. But he still says he'll have his own kingdom and his own queen. Meaning that he won't allow a woman to rule over him but that he will rule over her. He's an alpha male ruler at a time before divorce courts. As for the first film Conan the Barbarian when I watched it for the first time it had a big emotional kick not only because he loses his family when he's young but also because he loses his lover Valeria to the man that also killed his family.

So the not so mystery link is about a woman, the most popular celebrity cam thot in a future world. She loses her mind and goes from having 800 million subscribers to zero and you can see the post dopamine crash that she gets after she violates the platform policy by not posting everytime she's being prompted to. This short film isn't very realistic because according to her handlers she spends 22 hours working and four hours sleeping. We all know that female social media personalities have the best of both worlds. The get more attention and money than men do that do the same thing while only having to work a third or as quarter as much. So a future twitch thot working for 22 hours straight isn't going to happen unless she's enhanced technologically to stay up that late and have chemicals pumped into her to maintain that sort of production schedule. The woman in the short film is sometimes how I feel being on the daily content production treadmill. It's been six and a half, almost seven years of making videos without a break. As I'm mentioned before I want to get to the ten year mark and then see how I feel. The creators of this sci-fi short film write the character named X or Gigi Edgley as man. She's working like a man non-stop and when she receives a letter asking her "Do You Question?" and some guy shows up in her holographic room she starts to lose it. She also gets asked the question does your cage exist? which is what most people don't realise about social media and online content production. You get trapped by the dopamine rush and you keep running on your treadmill to keep it coming. The tag line for this short film is "In a looming future where social media celebrities dominate our culture, “X” (Gigi Edgley) is the world’s supreme online icon—but how far must she go to hold on to her popularity?" She's written as a male protagonist because she realises she's been trapped. That's something a guy would do. Not a woman. The attention would be just too irresistable. She wouldn't violate the Celebrity franchise handbook on the social platform she's on. Taih the artificial intelligence turns against her within thirty seconds when she's no longer doing what the platform wants.

The first article you sent me is called "8,000 YEARS AGO, 17 WOMEN REPRODUCED FOR EVERY ONE MAN" and talks about the rough dating scene after the advent of agriculture where 17 women reproduced for every one man. There was no mass die off of males but the theory is that somehow only a few men accumulated most of the wealth, power and status for themselves leaving nothing for the other men. Then as they gathered their wealth they passed it down to their sons and that allowed their sons to reproduce with the majority of women as well. But something changed along the way and eventually human societies for the most part turned into ones where only one man would pair off with one woman. The people being interviewed for the article give theories as to why so few men reproduced but they don't discuss why for the past few thousand years almost every man that's wanted to get married and reproduce has had that option. I can only speculate as to why things changed but I suspect that one other civilization out there figured out that if they gave every single man a wife that that man would be have a stake in their system and be willing to fight more ferociously to defend it from foreign invaders. That's probably also why western society is declining today and marriage rates are down because sure every man can have a wife, but for how long before she divorces him? Another question to ask is why did the other 16 men hang around and accept that only Cromagnon Chad got to reproduced but they didn't? The men that didn't reproduce it wasn't like they served zero purpose for the communities they lived in. Many men dedicated their lives to becoming Shamen or Priests, or warriors. They found purpose for themselves outside of reproduction. You can see this sort of pattern in many Matriarchal Native American populations especially. Or they were there as a replacement in case one of the Alphas died and the women needed a replacement flesh flute. Some of those same natives when the European settlers showed up were eager to give up hunting and the nomadic way of life for farming. Can you blame them for trying to get away from their matriarchal way of life? They saw that each settler had his own wife and more importantly authority over her in addition to the opportunity to pass down their genes. But what happened
when agriculture was first introduced to a tribe without that outside western influence?
