Israeli Soldiers have to learn some arab in order to intervene in future missions in areas where the majority of the people speak arab... Same thing for the Hamas they learn some Hebrew in order to understand the ennemy.. WW2 US / UK soldiers learned German / French too in order to be able to comunicate with the enemy or the civilians, etc.. Most of the Israeli soldiers are youngsters between 18-23.. I've met a few of them in Jerusalem mostly and got even controlled by them at the checkpoints.. They checked my ID and once they saw I was European they started treating me with more respect.. Had a talk with them.. And noticed that they were not that intelligent.. They are just obliged to go to the Military for 2 to 3 years.. They don't wanna do the job.. And thats it.. Then you have these females in the Army who are more a liability than anything else.. When you take the tramway, trains or busses you see them very often with their M16's without a magazine, going to their bases.. Most of them shouldn't be in the IDF.. Just by looking at someone you can tell if they should be the Army or not.. They should put these people behind a desk or something else but not in the Army.. The day I visited the Jordan River where Jesus got baptized by Jean Baptiste at the border of Jordan / Israel.. I noticed that Jordanian soldiers looked more stronger than the Israelis.. But Israelis have the best weapons and equipment..
