It's also safer, less risky for rejection, judgement, impressing women, social anxiety, etc. I actually think the lockdowns really helped groom more men into these kinds of 'relationships, where being reclusive while feeling validated by providing for a female gives them a dopamine or vasopressin hit they are not comfortable seeking in more healthy avenues, and society at large outwardly hates men anyway. Why bother with women that will treat you like dirt when you have a gold digger you can 'feel' like you have some small claim to?
