@Bagoodman: i agree this war is totally unnecessary and is the result of a diplomatic failure. The proof of the lack of leadership, lies, and betrayal is right before our eyes. Saudi Arabia and UAE refused to accept a call from Biden who was probably going to ask for more oil production. Now there is propaganda indicating Maduro in Venezuela is a good guy now, how coincidental now all the sudden when we need oil. The lies are so transparent. @Doggk: I think there is a diplomatic solution with russia if ukraine could be reasonable. NATO gave promises of no eastward expansion and they were trying to break that promise. I don't like the Russian government either but a deal is a deal. Russia has to be tolerated to a degree because Europe need their oil and they have a rather strong military force. If this is imperialism, it doesn't make sense because imperialism is supposed to benefit the imperialism country so far all I see are drawbacks for everyone, there has been nothing of use gained.
