It's the github and the refusal to contract. This guy is a system-Z retard. There is no 30 years and a pension shit anymore. Take the contract, contracts don't come with unpaid overtime. The salary job is shit. Whoever suggested startups is an even bigger idiot, startups will fire you for not working unpaid overtime, weekends, and holidays, and they'll do it on the 11th month of your one-year cliff so you don't get any of the equity you were promised.
Put some of your projects that will never generate a profit on github, make them public, get yourself a form contract, and be a contractor.
