It's definitely true. Sean Connery knew and got hammered for saying it out loud. Some women really do get hysterical and a good slap calms them down. Words have no effect and usually make it worse.

The word "Asylum" is a beautiful word - and either a quick clean humane kill or institutionalised care for ever....
