That's a pretty good point actually. Women definitely do lie to their sons, they basically set them off into the world to be plundered by women... There was one woman in my previous workplace, and I knew that she had two or three teenage sons. I used to love surreptitiously getting the dig in. I would say, "You have a few sons. What's your opinion about this or that..." and then sit back and watch her squirm, in full knowledge of the injustice of the whole system... And she was a terrible mother too, btw. She didn't prepare meals for her children, etc. Her sons would have to eat weetabix when hungry.

@Mgtow_economics: I don’t think moms knowingly conspire to give their sons false information with the intention of misleading or doing damage. I think most moms and the well meaning women in your life are not even aware of the nature of your question. Moms, decent moms, are here to show boys and young men how to emotionally regulate, that the world is a safe place and things within this realm. A site like this existing has shown not only that my theory is correct but their performance in this capacity is an overall failure. I believe decent moms mean well in their attempt to answer the question. They want their children to grow up to be respectful and to not take advantage of people. On face value, this is very good advice. However, I believe that their overall viewpoint is passive. Overall, their life does require effort, but many things come passively. This is why moms give boys ‘ eventually, the right one will come around.’ From a male point of view, this is horrible advice because nothing we want just comes around. But for women , it does. They go to a supermarket, coffee shop, a bar, etc. and these things JUST happen. She isn’t thinking that a man has to grab his backs, man up and risk rejection or worse. She is thinking that she just went to a bar and all these guys just begin hitting on her. So within her reality, it did just happen. This is the fatal error or single parent households, is that moms and women cannot give boys or men advice on how to navigate the world as men, because they have no understanding of why men do the things they do or the challenges they face. They only know how they respond to them. This is why they are labeling masculinity as toxic. They don’t understand that the same things that make us ‘toxic’, per se, are also the things that make us confident, or disarm a potentially hostile threat before it becomes physical, or the physical ability to handle a hostile threat that has become physical. There are complete aspects of what make men that they completely misunderstand and mislabel because they have no idea how it works because it is not part of their reality. These things that they are labeling as potentially dangerous are integral aspects of what make us men.
