I have no idea on the times or dates, but I think - very, very, very vaguely - that they started to get very popular after playing at the pub at the bridge to Phillip Island....

Many decades ago - this was a 3 horse town with 5 shops in it....

I think the first time I went there by myself there was the Phillip Island Grand Prix - world formula one motorcycle championship - where I cheered on Wayne Gardner and got the whole audience around the entire track to cheer him on as he went around....

Another time I was just filling in time and doing some sight seeing and because the retards from the academy were so thrilled at my presence, I had something like 10 or 12 cop cars follow me down some BumFuck nowhere dead end lane....
