Back in the early 1980's, there was a superb article in OMNI magazine that called for the restoration of corporal punishment as a way of both punishing and deterring such outbursts of feral behavior. Kept that magazine for all these years and now I can't find it. It foresaw the rapid coarsening of American life and proffered that the only way to deal with it would be through public beating.

I used to read Omni. They started Omni Comics to try to start afloat, but it went under or was canceled by the Publishers. I also remember reading A Futurist magazine in the public library on the way home from high school.... Man, shit has changed. We all should be walking away from this shit. If I was at the fry shop, I would have tased the damn bitches.
