Personally I’m happy that, that gentleman was able to obtain some sort of contentment. Life is short, why live it in complete misery?

Idk, I think the personification of the doll is a sign of mental illness it makes me sad for society. Introducing to your mother… That’s not healthy.

I would definitely take "a lifeless beautiful doll over a soulless ugly woman." Though I think there is a quality in many of the dolls today that make them seem alive or full of life and love. RPM, you mentioned a breathing doll. I know of someone who got one of them. They say that they absolutely love the feature.
