@SQUEAK077: Whenever I go on the web for anything remotely questionable (commonly tech that is not....commonly queried [for historical purposes...really]), I am not using my common computer, I am not at home, I am not using my web connection, my device is spoofed, and subsequently cleaned (os auto-reinstall upon boot). Yes, I'm that type of dinosaur. It would be beneficial for others to adopt the same. BTW, firewalls, VPNs, and other such can be ofvsome use, but overall, nothing beats not using a public connection, with the forenoted.
