Artyomovsk under ‘de jure’ Russian control

Artyomovsk, also known as Bakhmut by Ukraine, is now ‘legally’ under the control of pro-Russian forces. Evgeny Prigozhin, head of the ‘Wagner’ Private Military Company, made the announcement in a video filmed in front of the city’s administrative building. <br> <br>If the capture is confirmed, it will mark the end of the most intense battle seen in the conflict so far.
