Three people have been killed in Sana'a, according to Yemen’s Houthi rebels, as they claimed their air defense system downed a drone belonging to the Saudi-led coalition. The claims could not immediately be verified.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Freedom over censorship, truth over narrative.
Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RTnews
Follow us on Telegram: t.me/rtnews
Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/RT_com

The Houthis could have wrapped this up a long time ago if they created an expeditionary force for the purpose of going north into Saudi Arabia. The main missions being to destroy infrastructure and conduct forward control of Houthi drones. Iranian techs should have come over to help hack into the Scud missiles and other weapons previously owned by the old Yemeni government.

BTW, Iran has been a weak ally. Several years ago, the Iranians sent a supply ship to the Houthi rebels in Sana'a. The Iranian frigate escorting the ship turned and ran when Saudi warships showed up. The supply ship was promptly seized and sent to Djibouti. Iran had plenty of opportunities to come up with a new way to deliver goods and weapons i.e. at the easternmost coast of Yemen. The logistics of unloading the ship and shuttling the stuff to the shore is a solvable problem and requires just a bit of innovative thinking. Unfortunately, the Iranians haven't shown brilliant thinking where power projection and supporting its proxies is concerned.
