Battle Of Athens Tennessee or McMinn County War is an unforgettable moment of political history within the USA. This documentary covers the events leading up to a historic moment in America.

Election day 1946 was the peak of so much fraud and abuse at the hand of a corrupt machine that brave men surrounded and laid siege to a jailhouse. Specific moments were shrouded in secrecy even with the main details being shared in the press. Chris DeRose wrote “The Fighting Bunch” and granted me access to an early copy. This book relies on his deep dive investigation into all the existing leads and he did a fantastic job preserving this important story.

Book: The Fighting Bunch: The Battle of Athens and How World War II Veterans Won the Only Successful Armed Rebellion Since the Revolution.
https://www.chrisderosebooks.com/

***ReUploaded with fixed audio*** Originally Published Nov 1st 2020

Stock Footage Provided by:
Kelly Lacy & Manuel Geissinger

Music, More Stock Video, and SoundFX provided by: Story Blocks
More SoundFX provided by: VideoCopilot & SoundBible

McMinn Living Heritage Museum: https://www.livingheritagemuse....um.org/battle-of-ath
Full Interview with author Chris DeRose: https://youtu.be/4Ga3cJ87etk

00:00 - Intro
03:55 - The Crump Machine
10:08 - Election Day
13:14 - The Jailhouse
14:09 - The Shooting
14:48 - The Only Real Photo
18:14 - Radio Broadcast
19:05 - Conclusion
19:54 - The Aftermath

too bad they did not kill the corrupt retards, at least the jail/police station was turned to rubble and made into a parking lot...
all of those cops should have been lynched the least.
