Tonight was our second night attending. We came once a few years ago and had a great time, so we invited some friends to come with us and tried again tonight.

While my friends and I were sitting by the dance floor, we were approached by a volunteer, Gary. Gary tried to strike up a conversation and my friends told him they were not interested in talking. My friends told him multiple times they were not interested in talking, and turned their bodies away from him. Gary persisted in trying to talk to us. Me and my husband asked him to leave, and repeated several more times that we were not interested in talking. He asked if we "knew what kind of place this was". We said yes, we just don't want to talk. He got offended and said "wooooooow, I see how it is" and continued to try to talk to us until finally my husband convinced him to leave.

One of Red Rooster's mantras is supposed to be "no means no", so I was surprised and disappointed that our very clear "no"s were not listened to over and over again. I went over to the female bartender and informed her of the situation and she took it very seriously, which I appreciated. She grabbed the bouncer and asked him to listen. The bouncer said he would talk to Gary and let him know his behavior was inappropriate, but the bouncer also said that he was sure Gary was "just joking around" and "probably didn't mean it like that". They let it slip that this was not the first time they had heard these complaints about Gary. I appreciated he said he would address it, but I was put off by the attempts to defend this awful behavior.

We checked out the upstairs couples-only section on our way out, and while we were up there, we were informed a couple is a man/woman pairing only, and our lesbian friends would have to wait downstairs. LGBTGI rights are extremely important to us so it was very disappointing to be told our lesbian friends were not considered a couple. Between this and the rapey volunteer who can't take no for an answer, we will not be back.

hope you are coming to the conclusion of reality at this point. You are taking roids, in good shape with healthy BMI, going to strange clubs, none of it works. All of the reviews on yelp are people literally saying the same thing, the crowd is older, etc. If I were the owner I would begin looking into changing the business model of the establishment before the business fails, if I had no morals and I was him I would suggest changing it to a gay/tranny bathhouse and put up a huge rainbow flag because this would probably be a success. this is what the young globohomo populace is into. If he owns the real estate, sell now while the market is hot and gtfo. If he doesn't own the property, try to sell the business and kinda survey what the intent is of the prospective buyers, for instance do they intend to keep it as is, or change the business model. this will help give a lot of insight into whats to come.

consider why swingers clubs are inhabited by almost exclusively white older people.
