Oh god.... this is almost embarassing...... I remember when humanity was gifted with the plague of the AM band CB Radios, and of course in the days (in Australia) there were no mobile phones, only coin operated pay phones - which were an extortion racket in Australia, and so the CB radios became the telecommunications "7 league boots" for the common man and it was a communications revolution in it's own unique way.

And then this movie came out........

The CB radios and the trucks and the usual "us Vs. them" (the bastard cops).....

And this song got played to death on the radio and the TV shows about 45 years ago....

That and the bastard CB radio culture....

As a legitimate means of communication, it's good., then it grew into a veritable science - and how to bounce signals off the ionosphere, and pick up signals from incredible distances, and linear amplifiers....

Now everything has evolved into UHF....

I get it, that with the current events, it's a fun and cheerful thing - but I must have heard it 20,000 times before.
