Canadian activists raise biodiversity awareness by melting polar bear ice sculpture

Activists from ‘Espace pour la vie’ or ‘Space for life’ melted a ‘Polar Bear on Thin Ice’ work of art during the 15th UN Conference on Biodiversity (COP15) in Montreal. <br> <br>The life-size ice animal containing skeleton parts was created with the hope of raising awareness of the impact of climate change on biodiversity.
