One of the best points I've heard made , they CLAIMED to start the federal reserve in 1913 to bring stability to our money system ,, by 1929 we had a total economic collapse followed by the great depression..

Read "The Creature From Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin for a perfect complete story, prehistory of our first 3 central banks, including our fourth which is the Federal Reserve.
