Cuba oil fire: Aftermath and damage

The remains of an oil storage facility in Matanzas, Cuba were seen charred and smoking after an explosion and fire that engulfed a fourth reservoir at the supertanker base. Firefighters and specialists from Mexico and Venezuela helped to battle the blaze using boats, planes and helicopters. <br> <br>Residents carried on as usual, but are concerned about the possible long-term economic consequences and impact on the energy crisis. Citizens were asked to wear masks because of poisonous fumes.
