Dalai Lama called ‘pedophile’ after kissing boy

The Dalai Lama has been labelled a ‘pedophile’ after being filmed kissing a small boy. The Buddhist leader was attending a Buddhist event when he was seen acting rather inappropriately with an Indian boy who had come to show respect, first kissing him on the lips, and then, if that weren’t weird enough, grabbing the kid by the jaw and asking that the boy suck on his tongue. <br> <br>The video has drawn widespread condemnation from people who do not expect such things from an organized religion. The office of the Dalai Lama has since apologized over the incident, saying that sticking his tongue out was a form of playful greeting. ‘His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras. He regrets the incident,’ said his office.
