How do you even move your assets to Thailand? Thailand doesn't permit immigration. You are allowed to make a visa & you have to apply to extend them all the time. Thailand also does not allow foreigners to hold properties. This guy either has a Thai friend or marrying a Thai girl. But I think that means he has to divorce his wife first.

i recommend you buy a caribbean citizenship(100-150k) if you can because usa is the only country where you pay taxes on worldwide income, no matter where you are or where you are earning the money. it is a citizenship based taxation. when you are leaving ,denounce your citizenship, otherwise you WILL have problem with banks around the world as US citizen due to this exact reason. in other words, if you haven't protected your assets BEFORE you got married, buy the second citizenship as a backup plan and when shtf, denounce us citizenship and move asap. have a plan beforehand. sure, most people won't have 100k for the second passport or can afford to move, possibly won't be willing to leave their children. but smart man must realize when he lost the game.
