Mine is an iron wood.......a wood that does exist in Canada, when you are cutting it with a chainsaw it sparks like cutting metal

When Britain did have forests we had nature like Wolves, Bear's, Stag's and Wild Bore. All we have left now sre the "Wild Bore's" Usually found in the forest of the city on a Friday night wearing no nicker's and vomitting and rolling around on the pavement! not s pretty sight - Especially the No nickers part!

nyways he bought a new Stihl chainsaw with an 18" bar.. He said the pull starter felt funny.. so I looked it over and started it like any other chainsaw I have used.. but the pull felt spongy and it started late while the saw was falling towards me.. but I handled it ok.. cut up the oaks in about 20 minutes.. started the saw the same way 4 times.. so I looked it up.. it has an easy start system. for wimps I guess.. So they can just put their foot in the handle and pull the starter cord.. it pulls out ,, tightrning up a starter spring. then at a point the spring turns the motor over.. that is how it started on the way down when I started it.. pulling the cord does not turn over the motor.. it tightens up the starter spring.. anyways the saw ran great and made quick work of oak up to around 16" thick.. I guess the new way is to put your foot through the handle to hold it on the ground and pull the cord up.. fast or slow.. at some point the spring pops free and turns over the motor..
unbelievable.. it must be for wqomen or old men or something .. ;)

@SoloMan Zone: half of what I was saying disappeared.. so I just went with it if it doesn't make sense.. but there is a new starting system on some chainsaws that could mess a person up.. godam thing starts late.. you pull the cordand it starts 2 seconds later.. I just happened to clear the path to my friends hunting camp friday afternoon..

@jim bennett: It will be a heath and Safety thing that will slow work down and probably cause more accidents than prevent

@SoloMan Zone: I have started a hundred chainsaws.. and this thing ,, called easy start and on a stihl 400 dollar saw,, when you pull the cord it winds up a spring and then the spring releases and starts the saw.. it is definitely something different and dangerous to the unknowing user..

globalization is the culprit behind deforestation imo.. I see hundreds of houses being built so half of miami can move here.. as they are replacerd by other foreign hispanic people.. The banks make it happen financially.. there is alot of corrupt banking practice in Florida..

It just came out in a journal called Nature that the forest of North America are growing larger due to co2. UK only need to through out the recent invasion of third world peasants and the forest would regrow.

@SoloMan Zone: we feel that way here in America. New homeless camps of tribes from around the world. Government paid hotels only last for so long. Then the tribes move out and set up camps and begin crime operations.
