From what I recall, that is correct...the other two popular ones being Vishnu and Brahma. I find it disappointing how so much wisdom (in India) is commonly associated, in some manner, with mysticism (that includes naming children after their innumerable gawds [Hinduism does not put a limit on how many gawds the masses can imagine and introduce]). I posit that the practice diminishes the value of the data, in addition to prohibiting their society from evolving to one closer to science.

yep that shiva statue in front of CERN , its the ultimate hindu deity which is the origin and end of everything. The word 'SHIVA' means non-being, meaning a being that doesn't have an origin or an expiry date, its worshipped in the form of an ellipsoid aka oval shape of the universe
