the combinations are endless. i think he might also bury his design to an certain extent. at least i would in his position for the type of build he's going for. because i like the designs that are energy efficient and are cheap to cool and heat using natural methods or even an hybrid design, i mean being off the grid is pretty sweet, but i would like to have both hookups for my house just in case something happens to the outside world. the problem with these types of builds is the zoning regulations in the area and the possible restrictions that could impede the overall design. which is why most of these builds aren't within your average neighborhood because they are more than likely restricted in the city.
