@Dadadamdam: sorry, i just post whatever, the political stuff i consider important stuff, but then again sometimes stuff like this can also be important. it just depends on what i'm currently watching. but this kind of stuff is my passion so i will try to post more of this stuff.

@Dadadamdam: and i'm glad you got a little educated in how these dome structures work. when i first saw how they were created i didn't believe it was a strong structure either, until i saw how the rest of it was constructed and how they are probably the most strong structures on earth, i have another video where a man build himself a dome home that he buried under a lot of earth and then he even parked a few backhoes on top of it. i couldn't believe how strong these dome homes were because it didn't make much sense. but now you know why they are so damn strong, down in Florida there is a dome home along the coast that has been standing for 15 years and has been through many hurricanes within that time where most of the houses that are conventional on that same block are completely destroyed where their dome home is left standing with little to no structural damage. and now you know why i'm so damn interested in this design. but i also like earthships as well, they both serve important purposes and do much better than your average home that exists out there to date.

@KEEPER: I found it interesting how the older gentleman claimed that dome styled homes create a sort of tranquility within the mind. Perhaps subconsciously our minds is reminded of the safety our great ancestors found within the caves, in the far past?

I’m also intrigued by the possibility of structures that can stand the rest of time. It’s saddening that our society puts too much attention to creations that do not provide durability. Just look at the infrastructure of our societies and realize how brittle and fragile they are.

@eldrazi317: that's the key word right there, infrastructure. but the reason why the current one exists is because we built everything around that infrastructure, and that's why it's used and these types of buildings are forgotten and can only be built out in the middle of nowhere. it's unfortunate because this is the kind of infrastructure they claim we all should be going to when they talk about their climate change shit, but they want nothing to do with actually creating a new infrastructure because it will significantly change the economic landscape as it is. it reminds me of an TFM show a while back when TFM was talking about the time when we ditched horse and buggy and moved onto the automobile, everyone stressed out because the entire economy was built around that infrastructure, but we did it and we were just fine because ppl found other ways in creating jobs based on that infrastructure and the overall changes were better than before because we all made that change. so the need is there, but the majority of morons out there don't want to do it because they want to keep their horse and buggy's.
