Im on a mission to bring Reel to Reel tape back. Its amazing how much better than vinyl R2R really is.. <br>I've also remaster the music video to 60fps as well.

Today's "Technology" is soooo overrated. Reel to Reel was superior to anything offered today.

@sauger1001: Vinyl isn't bad either, but I remember when it was becoming more popular, it still didn't hold a candle to reel to reel. Same with BetaMax, compared to VHS. JMO.

@sauger1001: EXACTLY the point of this video. Reel to Reel had a much higher dynamic range than vinyl - also the best sounding analog shit ever heard ran at 15 IPS. This particular album was recorded at 7 1/2 IPS which is damn amazing. But 15 IPS made you shit your pants when you heard it. DSD is the a great digital format for capturing old vinyl and R2R.

@sauger1001: never had betamax good because it would make the worst kind of betas think they cool aka BETAMAXXING urgh no thanks haha and even though VHS had its problems that long play recording or 9 12 or 24hrs was a godsend when recording multiple DragonBall Z episodes and WWF all on one tape however I get it though betamax had better video quality however it's like android vs Mac most idiots use Android because it's simple and easy others use iPhone to do stupid shite as well so it doesn't matter. Me personally thank whichever has the highest quality and best sound that can afford and allows me to build a collection that's what I'm going for.

@DIO DOOM NUTZ_TALICHADJESUS33: Agreed and Im not going to lie.... I am an audiophile. Digital music has come a long ways. Most people are still listening to mp3s and arent even aware of Flac which can plaback audio at 24/32 bit ranges. Techincally, you can capture vinyl and Reel-to-Reel and find yourself left with a digital that sounds almost Identical to the original analog source. But analog audio is ANALOG. Its not dependant on bitrate and computers. So, it makes for a godly source. DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, DSD512 and DSD1024 are not PCM-based and can capture so much more of an analog source that you dont even realize is there. Some critics say the dead-space of an analog recording doesnt matter but i feel that 'dead space' has plenty of warmth and atmosphere that makes listening to analog sound more velvet.

Thank you Eggy and sauger 1001 never heard of REEL TO REEL before this, thank you for sharing your wisdom and this great song.
Reel to Reel was before my time if it was cost effective and able to sell many copies then it would have done better than vinyl and great song thank you

Nowadays it's sound cloud this online streams BS that, anything that is a physical copy of great music is awesome and better all around then again not a fan of vinyl only to have it break from cold winter temperatures that sucks.
