Elephant learns to peel banana after watching humans

Pang Pha, an Asian elephant at the Berlin Zoo, is a picky eater, but it seems she’s an incredibly intelligent one too. While most elephants eat bananas whole, skin included, Pang Pha has more refined tastes, so she studied the zookeepers until she was able to remove a banana peel on her own. She squeezes the top of the banana to break the skin, before squeezing the fruit out and eating it.
