This is an insult to Tolkien. I read the Silmarillion when I was ten years old, and I don't know how many times I've read it, and his other great works since then. Tolkien held up beauty in the face of ugliness, nobility in the face of corruption, hope in the face of despair, flawed men failing in a flawed creation, and yet still seeking redemption, sacrifice, betrayal, courage against overwhelming odds, sorrow mingled with joy, triumph, and tragedy.
Amazon has defiled a great work of literature. For this disgusting act, I'm boycotting all Amazon services for life.
