Before I forget, it's very important for MGTOW viewers to understand that the film took four years to make due to injuries and even deaths among the cast and crew. I became a MGTOW during those four years. So, if they could forgive a couple of strong female roles, that would be great! Just tell them to focus on the leading lady running around in a bikini for 90% of the movie! LOL. My next film with me animated, and believe me, the MGTOW crowd will absolutely LOVE my upcoming animated features! I thought I would take the time during the rest of this video to talk about a film I recently watched called the Current War depicting the struggle between Thomas Edison Edison and His DC electric system and George Westinghouse and Nikola Tesla and their AC generating system. Tesla of course being the MGTOW character in that film and being turned into a background character in his own film. But before I cover that let me first tell you about today's sponsor The Brave Browser: Anyways, now back with the show. The two Hollywood films in the last few decades with Nikola Tesla in them are the Prestige with David Bowie playing him back in the naughties and now we have this new Current War film with Nicolas Hoult playing Tesla. Yet Tesla seems to share very little screen time in the film. It's mostly about Edison and his life story first, then George Westinghouse and his desire to do the right thing and finally Tesla is slipped in more towards the end when his AC induction motor needs to be used for the Westinghouse Electric System. The film centers around the Chicago World's Fair of 1896 to see which system is going to get the contract to light up the fair. It's the first time in history where people see a large city or series of buildings lit up with electricity. In fact for many of the thirty percent of Americans that attended that fair it was the first time they would ever see electricity. Let alone see it on a massive scale all lit up like Fremont Street in Las Vegas. The question we should ask is why won't Hollywood make a film about Tesla, or the Wright Brother or even Sir Isaac Newton? I'll tell you why. It has to do with two simple words. Love interest. If you were a famous man and you were never married or had any children yet you managed to create a historic legacy instead of just a genetic one for yourself then it's bad news bears no one will make a film in your honor.
