Plaza Guayarte - Guayaquil has done a great job adding and upgrading parks for its citizens throughout the busy city. Plaza Guayarte is an expansion of an earlier park. Now on both sides of the river near the University of Guayaquil, it is an uncrowded place to walk with various art structures and artist displays, an elevated stage where sometimes there is entertainment, and many small places to get food and sit.
