The Fagradalsfjall volcano in southwestern Iceland continues seismic activity 30km away from the capital, Reykjavik, sending lava and plumes of smoke into the air. After being dormant for around 6,000 years, the volcano erupted in 2021 and 2022 but caused no damage

These totally trip me out...... It's the sheer size of them.
It's the fucking scale of the things...
The initial view from the drone, the volcano looks like a rabbits hole from a stones throw away, and yet in another earth bound view, with a couple of people in front of it, it looks like a mountain about 10 K away in the distance and it's fucking huge... it's so big... like WOW...
I wish they would put some reasonably accurate distances and dimensions on the things, because it is hard to make sense of just how big these things really are.
