Shit like this proves how much science is worth.... in these societies — ALL Parents should be aware of the emerging science - their kids are THEIR responsibility.

Even though it’s common sense to protect one’s offspring. However common sense ain’t common.

@MrA_H0Ie: The entire paradigm of what constitutes "science" has changed dramatically. Science is now whatever the benefactor is paying for. The old idea that "science" is an empirical process of proving or disproving a hypothesis, and subject to peer review, is so 20th century.

"Emerging science"??? Now THAT is something I'd have NO trust in at all. The only worthwhile science has long since been developed and matured into many useful processes. IMO, the widespread availability of computers and simulation software has destroyed legitimate science and made fake science all too easy to pass off.

If hard science falls in an already dead forest, will anybody know the difference? We're only one generation removed from the Apollo missions and already, there is a great doubt that we ever went. The Flat Earth argument is growing rapidly. The industrial habits we once had, informed by science, are completely lost and forgotten. We have a total quack in the CDC nicknamed, "The Science." The historic definition of Science may never change but, it's IMAGE is already soiled beyond repair. Any attempt to cleanse the image and restore its dignity will be met by howls of, Racism! Sexism! and any other -ism you like. What I'm saying is that Science is like a naked body. It requires cultural clothing to protect and make it presentable. As it is, stripped and humiliated, even the hard truth of Science is helpless.

it's not about the science. it's about the complacency people have. they don't want to stand out and get hammered down by the system.

That’s really it I think. One can either have complacency and convenience, or freedom. Freedom requires one to be self-sufficient and being able to think for themselves which many find inconvenient.

It'd be nice to see the charts he's talking about.
