I'm not convinced that it was a good idea for Russia to invade Ukraine, particularly at this point in history... The West desperately needed a scapegoat, and Putin gave them one. Western politicians will now blame all their nations' problems on the Russian war in Ukraine, rather than on the real issues. The West will now attempt to target and completely destroy Russia, rather than turn the mirror on themselves.... I hope Putin didn't act prematurely, because all the ire of the West will now be focused on Russia, rather than turning on itself...
