Four-ton shrine carried during Torigoe Matsuri procession in Japan

Hundreds participated in the Torigoe Matsuri procession to carry Tokyo’s heaviest portable shrine, also known as sengan-mikoshi. Carriers shuttled the four-ton shrine through the streets, with local police overseeing the event.
