Freemixing has always been a common fitnah for Muslims living in the west. Recently in the UK, this issue has seen itself return, with a major Islamic event (Light Upon Light) which featured Mufti Menk and Omar Suleiman, turning into a mixed gathering with tens of thousands mixed together, facing abundant backlash during the final nights of Ramadan.
