It's the first time I have seen the mainstream media cover black-on-black crime. Anyone else find it ironic how the first ever all-black Oscar show instantly turned violent, with black-on-black violence? That's real American representation at the Oscars!

That slap was an admission that Will is a desperately broken, desperately insecure man. It's also shows that Chris Rock has more poise than pretty much everyone else in the audience. HE was hit and HE took it better than they did. A lot of respect for his composure.

This whole thing was staged. They are both actors. No one cares about the Oscars and they needed a soundbite to make it relevant. I'd be surprised if it was real, and, if it is real, then Will is an even bigger simp than he originally was before that.
