Gaza devastation shown in satellite images

The toll of Israel’s bombardment of Gaza is no more apparent than in these before and after images captured by Maxar Technologies. Gaza has been ravaged by a sustained barrage of Israeli airstrikes, which have persisted for 20 days and have severely impacted relief operations while leaving entire neighborhoods in ruins. In some areas, even the rubble has been pounded into dust. <br> <br>The current conflict marks the deadliest of the five Gaza wars for both sides, resulting in significant casualties. According to the Hamas-run Health Ministry, over 6,546 Palestinians have been killed, and 17,439 others have been wounded. In Israel, more than 1,400 people have been killed, mainly civilians who lost their lives during the initial Hamas rampage on October 7. Israel’s military reports 222 people, including foreigners, as hostages in Gaza, with four having been released.
