1. Lose the girlfriend. It's clear that the validation of having a gf is making him complacent. He won't do this, but a woman does you no good when you're on your way up in the world.
2. Stop watching youtubers. You want to learn to program, it's not easy. There is no ceiling in this field; you will always be competing with increasingly stellar programmers. So reclaim your time and learn to program, while working your job.
3. Working as programmer is the dumbest way to turn programming skills into money. The company makes money from your code per iteration, which is an unlimited amount, while you get paid for time with your butt in your seat. Instead, find a way that you can be both the company and the programmer: start a SaaS side gig, or take a non-programming job that you can streamline with your programming skills to the point that you're only working 2 hours a day.
