In Australia, it’s known as Tuesday. This footage from a residential street in Queensland shows a 5-meter-long carpet python, casually making its way along the rooftops. This longest of long bois then wraps itself around a tree, as a family looks on with apprehensive laughter. Carpet pythons pose relatively little danger, however. They’re not venomous, although they have around 100 teeth and incredibly strong muscles, so it’s best not to actively start an argument with one.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Freedom over censorship, truth over narrative.
Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RTnews
Follow us on Telegram: t.me/rtnews
Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/RT_com

I'm so glad I live in a cold country. Very few potentially dangerous reptiles although some of the mammals can be quite dangerous.

Yeah they are fine..... unless your small enough to EAT.....
Then they wrap around you and every time your breath out, they pull around you a bit tighter...
They would easily eat a large house cat, a possum, a similar sized dog, chickens, ducks, pigeons, etc...

@WMHarrison94: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morelia_spilota ---- Diet Carpet pythons kill prey by constriction. Their diet consists mainly of small mammals, birds, and lizards. Incidents of carpet pythons devouring domestic cats and small dogs have been reported.[9] https://www.smh.com.au/environ....ment/conservation/py

@WMHarrison94: They are not a real big snake, some get bigger, but most are around 2 to 3 meters... Maybe a big one could eat a newborn... I don't know about a LARGE domestic cat - but a smaller one to maybe medium size - for sure. Their heads and bellies are just not that big.
