The problem with Giga Chad is that a slight reduction in SMV for him is much more devastating than for a sub-5 subhuman to experience a fall of 1 or 2 points. Giga Chad didn't just get a whiff of the Good Life. He enjoyed the full buffet and the fall into Normie Status is just crushing. He'll always remember when he was a Super Star and he is unable to handle that. OTOH, sub-5 subhumans have suffered for a very long time and we've lost the energy to even respond. We go into surival mode which means not wasting one ounce of energy to improve ourselves as such expenditures are 100% wasted. Even if a sub-5 could ascend to Normie-dom, the effort was too great and the rewards were too small. The temporary Normie falls back into sub-5 status and the darkness surrounds him again. But, the subhuman can adjust to the darkness whereas Giga Chad cannot.

Remember the 80/20 Rule and put it on a graph. The x-axis is the SMV axis of 0-10. The y-axis is female approval from 0-100%. On this graph, you have the classic hockey stick curve. As you go from 0-8 on the x-axis, the curve is flat and barely moves up. Once you get to "8" on the SMV x-axis, female approval begins shooting up at a steep angle. Even a slight reduction along the 8-10 scale creates a devastating loss of female approval.
