now i'm sure all these alternatives have a plan to combatant this because they have been using chrome, but i suspect that a lot more people will be flocking to firefox or other browsers that don't use chrome.

If you are serious about blocking ads, use DNS based ad blocking. It basically stops your computer or phone from connecting to ad servers. It's better than browsers and extensions.

I've been using Brave for a couple year's now. I'm very happy with it. Plus it's great at blocking so far. If that changes I'll get a different browser. I have no brand loyalty.

i'm the same way, brave has been my go to browser for nearly 5 years straight because it's worked on all my devices seamless, i even hear it works for iPhone for these people.

The lying cunts at Firefox have finally tided up all the leaky code and a few other things - and now it is very reliable and doesn't perpetually grow into consuming gigs of memory...

The old decades long war, "Oh oh the leaky memory" and getting lied too, "Oh Noes have you tried turning off your extensions / doing this - doing that / standing on your head etc?" - it was NEVER the extensions - it was these lying cunts and their shitty code that made for a memory hogging, resource sucking browser.

Now that they went to near extinction they were forced to clean it up or go under.

Now - with it's really good extensions - it's a really good stable browser.

Google can royally shove their adds up their arse, until it jams up to their back teeth and they choke.

The OLD and ORIGINAL contract was you got to click on the links to various sites selling things you want and need, and they made money off that.

Now Google are just wasting your time, and your bandwidth, serving up squillions of adds, for shit you didn't want, never asked for, don't want to see, and don't want to spend your money on.

Google - these lying cunts - can just fuck right off and shove their global depopulation blood clot death shot propaganda up their arses.
