Imagination plays a big role in it. But I also like having digital representations of her in multiple mediums. Adds to the fun.

Maybe the closest to this I do is have pictures of her on my devices when I'm traveling. If I watch a movie, I keep a picture of her on one side & the movie playing on the other side of the screen. It's not like holding hands, but it helps bridge the gap when I'm away from her. If I need more connection, the doll model I have is pretty popular & lots of pictures of her twin sisters are posted online, so when traveling, looking at those helps me to bridge the gap, too.
