The great thing about listening to the opposite sex, or people in relationships pontificate on why men aren't dating is that they show us, every time, how little they know, listen, or understand where single men are coming from or why men have checked out. The assumption is video games, not women being glued to their phones, addicted to their internet validations, unapproachable, demanding, and generally unpleasant dispositions. I'm an old Gen X guy and I can tell you that even the sound of women's voices have changes, where in the 90s and 80's women typically sounded "girly" whereas today most women sound like they're barking. Women have become harsher, trashier, and more inked than military guys 3-4 decades ago. A man has to be willing to eat a lot of sour before getting a taste of sweet, and even then it's just his turn.

A lot of men really are hard up, but a lot of men are also starting to either get wise to the game, or get over playing games (with women; not video...).
